MOVIE NEWS

Joe Johnston, director of Jurassic Park 3, has signed on to direct First Avenger: Captain America, to be released on May 6 2011. No one has been cast as Cap himself at this time. via The Hollywood Reporter

The Geek Files has a plot synopsis of X-Men Origins: Magneto, release date unknown.

McG, director of the upcoming Terminator Salvation and producer of Supernatural (the best show on TV), is rumored to be directing Wonder Woman, release date unknown. via IESB

Geek News for Monday June 30, 2008

First off, there are two new Gotham Tonights, one about Lieutenant Jim Gordon and another one about the Scarecrow. They can both be found here.

In other Dark Knight news, you may have a problem getting a ticket opening day, according to Superherohype, fandango is reporting that The Dark Knight is selling tickets faster than any other movie this summer and many theaters already, 18 days away from release.

Also from Superherohype is an exclusive interview with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the writers of The Green Hornet.
