MOVIE NEWS

Jimmy Hayward, according to The Hollywood Reporter, has been hired to direct the film based on the DC Comics character Jonah Hex.

Shazam, the planned movie based on the DC Comics' Captain Marvel, has been shelved according to the the writer, John August, on his blog.

20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. have decided to let Judge Feess decide whether or not Watchmen will be released on March 6th. Judge Feess will make his decision on January 20th. via The Los Angeles Times

MOVIE NEWS

Columbia pictures has hired Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, both are writers of The Office (American version), to write Ghostbusters 3. For those of you who have not yet seen the original two yet you can watch them here. via Slashfilm.

The trial to see who owns the rights to produce the Watchmen movie will be held on January 6 according to Variety.

New pictures of the Dragonball movie have been released and contain the first look at Piccolo, picture below. via DBthemovie.


During an interview for his new movie, Bangkok Dangerous, Nic Cage revealed that Ghost Rider 2 is in development and will have Ghost Rider in Europe. via Superhero Hype.

Aaron Eckhart revealed during an interview with Superhero Hype that Two-Face did die in The Dark Knight and will not return in the sequel. I still believe that they will have Two-Face come back in a future film somewhere down the line and he has just been in Arhkam this whole time.
