A new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been released.



A new trailer has also been released for Hulk vs. Thor.

MOVIE NEWS

Variety is reporting Jude Law is currently in talks to play Dr. Watson opposite Robert Downey Jr. in Warner Bros.' 2010 Sherlock Holmes movie.

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Stephen Chow has been cast as Kato, Green Hornet's sidekick, and will direct the upcoming Green Hornet movie (June 25, 2010).

William Shatner has responded to the comments J.J. Abrams comments from early in the month, saying that he was never approached by anyone for a cameo and then goes on to praise himself.



Dread Central
is reporting that Brett Ratner is in talks to direct the new Conan movie. Why are people even bring up his name to direct films after he completely destroyed the X-Men 3.

MOVIE NEWS

Warner Bros. has decide that they are going to, according to the Wall Street Journal, do the same thing Marvel is doing with their superhero movies, introducing the individual characters in their own movies and then do a team-up movie. They also revealed that they're going to reboot the Superman franchise, and they plan to follow what Batman Begins/The Dark Knight but not just by making it realist but also dark. Uhm... last time I checked, Superman is not a dark character, he 's a character that inspires and gives hope, that dark stuff is Batman and occasionally Green Arrow. They also announced plans to make 2 DC comic based movies by 2011, including Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Batman 3, Superman, and the Flash.

The new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, has had its release date pushed back a week, from November 7 to November 14. via Slashfilm.

According to Slashfilm, Jon Favreau has started working on the story for Iron Man 2, set to be released April 30 2010, with Justin Theroux, the Tropic Thunder screenwriter, as the writer for the script.

In what will be bitter-sweet news for Chickenlord, Ain't It Cool News is reporting that Sci-Fi has cancelled Stargate Atlantis but the series will be continued with direct-to-DVD movies.
