Last weekend at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Heroes creator, Tim Kring, has stated that the fourth volume of Heroes, which will be the second half of season 3, will be titled Fugitives. via io9.

Next, some very awesome news, Ain't It Cool News is reporting that today at Comic-Con Disney showed three minutes of TRON 2 or TR2N as it is apparently being called. For those of you who do not know what TRON is watch the trailer for the original below.
And finally, the logo for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has been revealed by Paramount and can be seen below.
First up, the teaser trailer for Watchmen, based on the praised graphic novel, has been released and can be watched below or here in higher quality.
Next up, Variety is reporting that Paramount is developing a sequel to School of Rock. The sequel is currently titled School of Rock 2: America Rocks and Jack Black is returning.
And in other movie sequel news, Ain't It Cool News is reporting that Arnold is being replaced by an another Austrian bodybuilder named Roland Kickinger as the T-800 Terminator in Terminator Salvation.

I haven't updated in awhile, because I got sick for a while last week, but now I'm back so here is your Geek News.
First up, Ain't it Cool News is reporting that Robert Downey jr. has been cast as Sherlock Holmes in the new Sherlock Holmes film. This Sherlock Holmes film should not be confused with the other Sherklock Holmes film starring Sacha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell. No one has been cast as Dr. Watson yet.
Next up, Marvel has released a trailer for their next animated movie Hulk vs. Wolverine.
And in DC news, CHUD is reporting that Matrix Producer, Joel Silver, said on German radio the next film the Wachowski Bros. are making is Plastic Man, starring Keanu Reeves. For those of you who don't know Plastic Man click the picture below

In TV News, Kryptonsite is reporting that the title for episode 3 of season 8 of Smallville will be titled Toxic. Season 8 premieres on September 18 according to TV Guide Magazine while The CW is saying October 2, so expect to be back on one of those dates. (Hoping for the 18th but it will probably be the 2nd)

Heroes a TV series on NBC has captured my heart in...06? I'm not absolutely sure with dates. then...heroes season 2 came...not counting that there was like 10 episodes and the writer's strike fucked up everything. The season itself wasn't that great, they tried to do the same thing they did in the first season and it didn't work. I really hope that this next season will fix the show if not that will be sad. So the subject of chickenlord's day is will heroes ever be as good as it was?
It has been 19 days since I posted the first and only Geek News post on this blog so I thought I'd do one. So without any further or do here is the Geek News for Monday June 23, 2008.
First up The Bad and the Ugly has some some spoilerish pictures of the Heroes Season 3 premiere.
And also in superhero teleivsion news, Kryptonsite has the press release from The CW of the casting of Davis Bloome *cough* Doomsday *cough* and Tess. Davis Bloome will be played by Sam Witwer and Tess Mercer will be played by Cassidy Freeman. Kryptonsite is also reporting that the title for Smallville Season 8 premiere will be Odyssesy.
Next, Louis Leterrier, the director of the Incredible Hulk, told MTV that he wants the fans to choose between the Leader and Doc Samson for the villian of the sequel to The Incredible Hulk.
And also in Marvel movie news the Los Angeles Times is reporting that Spider-Man producer, Laura Ziskin, has said that Spider-Man 4 will be out in 2011. At this it is unknown if Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire, or any of the cast member will be returning.

And finally, some sad news, comedian George Carlin has died at the age of 71. Carlin was best known for his 7 dirty word routine. R.I.P George Carlin.
